let’s talk!

meet me: Before we get started, let’s see if we’re compatible! I want you to be absolutely sure I am a good fit to design for your event. This conversation is the first step to ensure your experience with Lieb & Rose is totally personal. I offer complimentary, no-obligation consultations to any and all new clients. We can meet virtually from wherever you are in the world or in-person if you are located in the New York area. We can always communicate via phone or email.

tell me everything: I want to get to know you so I can make sure your personality comes through in our work and at your event. The more inspiration photos, samples, florals, swatches, and ideas the better! Anything and everything you want to be reflected in your designs will better equip me to fulfill your vision — no matter how big or small.

mull it over: Think about me, dream about me, and let me know your thoughts — or don’t! No pressure to work with me after we meet, but I really hope we do…

then what?

If you decide to work with Lieb & Rose after your consultation, I will collect a deposit and any necessary information for the project. I will get to work as soon as I have everything!

let’s work on it: Lieb & Rose will email two proofs, with cost estimates, in PDF format 2-3 weeks after receiving your deposit. At this stage, no edits are out of the question, so please don’t hold back! You can choose one of the designs as is or combine elements, add or subtract, adjust sizes, colors, fonts, etc. Be as thorough as possible to get your ideal design and keep in mind that the proof is like a rough draft that is meant to be revised.

new and improved: I will design a final proof based on your comments and send it over. This is the end of the design stage, but font sizing, color changes, and text edits are among minor changes that can be made for as long as necessary. Any further fundamental design adjustments can be done at an hourly rate.

double, triple, quadruple check: Any text you send for your design will be copied verbatim. Once you approve the final proof, Lieb & Rose is not responsible for any misspellings that have not been corrected in the proofreading process. Ask as many people as you can to take a look and make sure there are no mistakes (especially in proper names and places).

how long & how much?

Production time varies with each project, but most processes will be roughly 6-8 weeks in their entirety, especially for printed and handmade materials. Cost is much harder to estimate due to the completely personalized nature of each of Lieb & Rose’s services. However, I will be able to give you a general idea of pricing after our initial consultation.

For weddings, I recommend that we start working together at least 4 months before your estimated mailing date if you plan to do Save the Dates and Invitations with Lieb & Rose.

If you wish to continue working with Lieb & Rose to coordinate day-of design elements, we can discuss this at your consultation or any time up to 6 weeks prior to your event. Everything can be ordered separately throughout this process, so don’t worry about making your decisions at our first conversation.

Lieb & Rose is also happy to work on-site to set up pieces on the day of your event. If you have an event planner, I can work alongside them. On-site service will be a reasonable additional hourly rate, not including travel and accommodation expenses.
