At its core, Lieb & Rose is like having a personal artist by your side to bring your vision to life for any and every event. Lieb & Rose takes pride in creating unique, fun, and artistic elements for life’s special moments. Julia loves to work with clients from concept to completion and establish a consistent, coherent design theme that she can guarantee is exclusive to you — no one will have the same elements at their occasion. From graphic design to hand lettering and painting, Lieb & Rose can create a limitless catalog of pieces starting with a Save the Date or Invitation and ending with day-of touches that complete your aesthetic.
Julia is willing to work in any type of media. She prefers to work in close-knit and collaborative relationships to ensure her work perfectly accompanies your event.
Though it took me until very recently to refer to myself as an “artist,” I realize that’s what I’ve always been. Over the years, friends and family have supported my work and encouraged me to continue to create. So, I decided to make my passion into a business of my own, named Lieb & Rose.
The name comes from my childhood home: I grew up on the corner of Lieb Place and Rose Avenue. To this day it is one of my favorite places, especially when the roses are blooming, the tulips pop out of the ground, and the lilacs and lily of the valleys are particularly fragrant. My mom always had flowers throughout the house and they are a constant source of inspiration for me and one of my favorite things to draw and paint.
A few important things about me: I studied Art History and Art & Design at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I am a dog-lover through and through. I am a Pisces sun, Leo rising, and Capricorn moon, and it shows. Finally, none of my art would be possible without the voice of Stevie Nicks in my ears.
Everything I make is personal. I love the creative process and working with individuals to create their ideal product.
